Our society, and even believers, have reduced marriage to "signing a piece of paper", "permission for sex", "having babies" or "expressing our love". Yet, marriage is so troubled in our society. Separation and divorce are now the norm. Many are foregoing marriage and just living together. According to the Bible, marriage is God's idea to bring glory to Himself and make us holy. Marriage is to illustrate God's relationship with His people, develop Jesus' character in husbands and wives and provide a strong place to make disciples.
