Showing messages from the series Indispensable
By Brad Quiring beginning August 27, 2018 Indispensable: "Absolutely necessary. Essential, necessary, all-important, of the utmost importance, of the essence, vital, must-have, crucial, key, needed, required, requisite, imperative; invaluable". The dictionary definition of this word is very clear. What things in our lives are indispensable? In the Bible we see that there is a season for everything and that nearly everything comes to an end. But there is some things that are absolutely necessary and will never fade, die or decay. There is a life we are to live that also must be absolutely necessary. Join us in the months of September and October to discover what is truly indispensable for our lives, church and world.

By Brad Quiring on September 9, 2018
There are certain elements of our lives which are indispensable. They are absolutely necessary for our spiritual and relationship life and health. This week the first "indispensable" is the Bible. By Brad Quiring on September 16, 2018
Jesus is the builder and head of The Church as well as our local churches around the world throughout history. Church is a family and a place. It is where we belong, welcome one another, learn about God together, and meet one another's needs. The Church is also the instrument in God's hands to proclaim the gospel to the entire...

We cannot be saved on our own. We need Jesus. How do we know this? We have a message: the Gospel, which means, literally, the Good News. We need this Good News in order to be saved from our sins and from God's punishment. We also need to proclaim this message to others.
Indispensable: God
By Brad Quiring on October 7, 2018
Indispensable God. We need God. Period. Without God, we have no life, no blessings, no hope, no existence at all. God is real and he is the One who defines all things in this universe. So many us live as if we don't believe that we need God for everything. A refining of our faith will then manifest itself in...

By Randy Jaspers on October 14, 2018
To be IN a church without GOING out and proclaiming the Good News of Jesus means we're not really being The Church of Jesus Christ. Randy Jaspers, Regional Minister for the Manitoba Baptist Association, reminds us that to truly be followers of Christ, we need to proclaim salvation through Jesus to all the world

By Will Walker on October 21, 2018
God had compassion on us, so he sent Jesus to die for our sins and release us from the spiritual slavery and poverty of sin. Now, we must take the compassion we have received from God and give it to others so they can be released. Part of compassion is also meeting their physical and social needs. Abundant Life is...
Indispensable: Baptism
By Brad Quiring on October 28, 2018
Symbols mean something. It is good for us to know what they mean and how they apply to our lives. Baptism is a symbol. Baptism, in and of itself, is not special, but the truth it symbolizes is very powerful. It represents Jesus' work to save us from our sins. We proclaim Jesus through baptism.
