Symbols mean something. It is good for us to know what they mean and how they apply to our lives. Baptism is a symbol. Baptism, in and of itself, is not special, but the truth it symbolizes is very powerful. It represents Jesus' work to save us from our sins. We proclaim Jesus through baptism.
