“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:22-24 (NIV2011)
God has set us up through Jesus to have a totally different life than the rest of the world. It starts with our hearts and minds. According to Paul, we were corrupted by deceitful desires. Now our desires are based on the truth directly from Jesus. Our attitudes before Jesus were against God and the Bible. Now our attitude is guided by loving and willing submission to God’s way. Before we were sinful people. Now, in Jesus, we have been created to be righteous and holy just like God.
Let’s actively respond to the Bible and the Holy Spirit to live a life that reflects these truths. Ask God directly to help you. Confess your sins and bad attitudes to God. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand and apply the Bible’s lessons to your daily life. Then…obey!
Back Together, Live!
The provincial government has changed restrictions to allow us back in church. We can have 25% of auditorium capacity (50 people) for a church service and 25% capacity upstairs for kids’ ministry (25 children and volunteers). The province will review and make changes on March 25. We are thankful for these changes and are working to ensure that we are providing a safe and comfortable experience for everyone who comes for the 9:00AM or 11:00AM service. The children’s program is offered at 11:00AM. Please reserve your spot by going online to https://albc.ca/events/ or by calling the office at (204) 222-7671. The 11:00AM service will also be livestreamed on YouTube.
Under the current regulations we need to observe the following:
1) Masks on all the time except for those serving on stage.
2) Maintain 6 feet distance between people who are not from
the same household.
3) Hand sanitization before entering the auditorium.

Missions Outreach Team Updates:
Jesus commanded us to “go into all the world and preach the gospel”. This is our mandate as believers in Christ individually and also as a body.
As a church body, we have had the responsibility and the privilege to support a number of missionaries serving the Lord in many parts of the world.
From South America to Croatia, from Europe to the Amazon, ALBC has played a role in taking the gospel to people in all these places. We are excited to be able to tell you that we are looking to increase our global missions footprint even further.
God has blessed us in such a way that we feel it is time we support a third missionary couple. The Missions and Outreach Team is excited to tell you that we are in conversations with a couple with Manitoba roots. Caleb and Raquel Enns are a missionary couple with Send International and feel that God is calling them to take the gospel to a people group in Thailand.
Caleb, from Steinbach and Raquel, from Abbotsford B.C. are being considered as our next missionary family. Please pray for us as we seek God’s will for us concerning this couple and for our plans for the coming year.
