God’s grace is great, because He gives us salvation and blessings that we do not deserve and cannot earn. God’s love is great because we were his enemies. Nevertheless, God sent Jesus to die for our sins to pay the requirement for sin and true justice.
Now, God calls us to, “lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.” Ephesians 4:1 (NLT)
How do we live this life if we cannot naturally do what God has called us to do?
Philippians 2:13 (NLT) says, “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”
In other words, God not only saved us from a life of sin and called us to live a life worthy of Him, he gives us both the desire and the power to be able to accomplish this. God will never send us out and say, “Good luck, but don’t blow it!” Rather, he changes our hearts and minds to make the right decisions in life, and then gives us the wisdom and ability to do what He has called us to do.
Ask God to make it clear to you how you will live and what you will do. He’ll make sure everything is taken care of.
